I have decided, at this time, to change the "weekly challenge" to every other week, until entries pick up. Even though you can always go back and post on any of the weekly challenges, I'd love to see more "current" entries...myself included ;) ....and perhaps giving us 2 weeks will give us more time to post our creations. Also, please, remember, I'm not looking for exact replicas of the photograph, please, post whatever the photograph has inspired you to create. Also, you may recreate the piece via whatever media you choose to use. Let those creative juices flow!

Week 8 Inspiration ~ Boardwalk

I took this the other day when my husband, our 10yr old son, and I took a walk at the Jackson Fraiser Wetlands here in Corvallis. There is others I really like from this particular walk that I may post for future challenges.

I wanted to begin with the color combination and as I was setting up I thought of a large piece (30" X 24"), "Botanical Three" and these two are were created using the inspiration of that piece and the color combination of this week's Inspiration photograph.
